Victoria Copus comes from a long line of dreamers, preachers, and peculiar people. She claims descent from two United States presidents and the last person massacred by Indians in the state of Ohio.
Victoria studied anthropology and classical civilizations at the University of Akron and discovered a love for linguistics and dead languages. A class trip to Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota introduced her to the generosity and pride of the Oglala Nation, and she counts the summers that she has spent on the reservation as some of the best in her life.
Her interests are hiking, camping, the Japanese language, anime, manga, ethnic cuisine, knitting scarves, computer games, and photography. She hopes to one day try her hand at writing a graphic novel and is currently working on a second novel.
She lives in Akron, Ohio (USA) with her cat, six fish, and a roommate who thinks she’s a vampire.
